  The museum is situated on Hartley Quay in the former Piermaster's House right in the middle of Albert Dock.
  
  The museum extends over 4 floors but there is a lift to all floors as well as the stairs.
  
  The basement contains the Border Force National Museum which is one of the best I've been to with lots of incredible factual displays as well as lots of interactive displays/tests. Its amazing how they've managed how they've managed to make customs and excise so informative but it certainly does.
  
  The first floor has an extremely enthralling area on the Battle of the Atlantic and a special section on the Lusitania.
  
  On the second floor there's a section on the Titanic and Liverpool as well as Art and the Sea and some amazing models in a section on Builders of Great ships.
  
  The third & top floor has the International Slavery Museum with recreations of life in West Africa as well as numerous personal narrations of how it impacted them. Some of the tales are very harrowing but they need to be told.
  
  The museum was amazing and incredibly all free! Dont miss it and allow 3-4 hours to give it justice.
